[Update – 6:41 AM CST] After extensive troubleshooting with the impacted infrastructure provider we were able to reroute traffic and bring full functionality back online. At this time all issues related to this should be resolved.
We have been informed by one of our Sydney datacenter providers that 4 networking cables that travel under the ocean have taken damage after Typhoons in Asia. Traffic is being re-routed but this may impact certain DNS lookups by delaying them or with errors. We are in contact with our datacenter provider to understand what the options are and time frame for resolution. We will be working with any impacted customers once we have understood the options.
