Intermittent Connectivity Issues in One US Datacenter

Incident is resolved

Update 4:25PM CST – Our 3rd Party Datacenter is reporting this issue as resolved. We have also done a variety of tests internally to verify that all WordPress installs hosted at the impacted datacenter are functioning correctly. If you continue to see any issues on your sites, reach out to our Support team for help.

Update 12:47PM CST – Our 3rd Party Datacenter is still experiencing inbound congestion due to ongoing DoS attacks, which may cause packet loss and increased latency. They are actively working to resolve these issues as quickly as possible, so brief service interruptions may appear. We will continue to provide updates as we have more information from the Datacenter.

Update 10:07AM CST – Our 3rd Party Datacenter provider has reported that the main attack has been mitigated, but there may still be some degraded performance occurring. All servers are appearing online at this time, and we will continue to monitor for any further issues.

Update – 8:30AM CST – The issue appears to have resumed and is affecting portions of the datacenter once again. Our 3rd Party Datacenter is working closely with their upstream provider to continue to mitigate these attacks. Intermittent service may appear while this maintenance continues. We will continue to provide updates as we have more information.

Update – 8:10 AM CST – Our 3rd Party Datacenter provider has mitigated the ongoing attack, and the issue should be resolved. We will continue to monitor and provide an update shortly.

Incident – 7:45AM CST – At this time we have reports of a large scale DDoS attack on one of our 3rd Party Datacenter’s in the United States, which is causing downtime for a subset of our customers. Our Datacenter provider is currently working to mitigate the attack. As more information becomes available we will update this post.
